November 2005 old friends of Tom's Ice Cream Bowl visited, John and Annie Glenn.
On July 24, 1998 in the Life Destinations and Diversions Section of USA Today, Tom's Ice Cream Bowl was listed one of the "10 Great Places in America to Get a 'Scoop'".
Tom's is mentioned regularly in Ohio Magazine as one of Ohio's Best Ice Cream locations.
Country Living (March 2003) recommends Tom's to readers on page 64 in it's "The Best of Country" article as roadside eats for sweet treats.
